A while ago I was asked to draw the Paper City page in Blueprint magazine. The idea being that, in each issue, a different artist, designer, architect or illustrator showcases their personal vision of a utopia. This week, Blueprint are putting together an exhibition of their Paper City archive at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, my little drawing included.
The show sounds pretty awesome. I don't have a list of names, but going by some of the Paper City pages I've seen in the past, there will be some interesting people involved. The hanging also promises to be quite unique with work reproduced in multiple copies and bound as ‘pads’ so that visitors to the show can tear off their favourite images and keep them.
